Nelson-Forbes of Marshall called up for consideration Senate File
2302, a bill for an act relating to programs and public health issues
under the purview of the Iowa department of public health and the
appropriation of certain fees to the department, amended by the
House, further amended by the Senate and moved that the House
concur in the following Senate amendment H-8805 to the House
amendment:

1 Amend the amendment, S-5353 to Senate File 2302, as
2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
3 follows:
4 1. Page 2, by inserting after line 37, the
5 following:
6 "Sec. . Section 124.212, subsection 5,
7 unnumbered paragraph 1, Code 1999, is amended to read
8 as follows:
9 Ephedrine. Unless specifically excepted in
10 paragraph "b" or "c", or listed in another schedule,
11 any material, compound, mixture, or preparation which
12 contains any quantity of the following substance,
13 including its salts, optical isomers, and salts of
14 such optical isomers:
