Jacobs of Polk offered the following amendment H-8760, to
amendment H-8748A, filed by her from the floor and moved its
adoption:

H-8760

1 Amend the amendment, H-8748, to Senate File 2395,
2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
3 follows:
4 1. Page 6, by striking lines 14 through 16 and
5 inserting the following:
6 " . Page 17, line 21, by inserting after the
7 word "agency." the following: "However, the
8 commission is subject to the general operations
9 practices and procedures which are generally
10 applicable to other state agencies.
11 PARAGRAPH DIVIDED."

Amendment H-8760 was adopted.

On motion by Jacobs of Polk amendment H-8748A, as amended,
was adopted, placing amendment H-8748B out of order.

Jacobs of Polk moved that the bill be read a last time now and
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read
a last time.

On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (S.F. 2395)
