40 "Sec. . NEW SECTION. 256.39a EMPLOYABILITY
41 SKILLS ASSESSMENT REIMBURSEMENTS.
42 1. If the general assembly appropriates moneys to
43 pay school district claims for the costs of
44 employability skills assessment tools, the department
45 of education shall reimburse school district claims
46 for the costs of acquiring, administering, and scoring
47 assessment tools to assess the employability skills of
48 students. The director of education shall identify
49 available employability skills assessment tools that
50 school districts may use to meet the claim

1 reimbursement requirements of this section.
2 2. In order to be eligible for reimbursement under
3 this section, a school district shall submit a claim
4 on forms provided by the department by July 15, and
5 the claim shall state the actual costs incurred and
6 shall be accompanied by an affidavit of an officer of
7 the school district affirming the accuracy of the
8 claim.
