The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared to
have passed the House and the title was agreed to.

House File 2427, a bill for an act to increase the criminal
penalties for an assault on members of certain occupations, was taken
up for consideration.

Rants of Woodbury asked and received unanimous consent that
House File 2427 be deferred and that the bill retain its place on the
calendar.
