10 3. By striking page 3, line 47 through page 4,
11 line 4, and inserting the following: "performed or
12 attempted to be performed."

Rule 75 was invoked.
The ayes were 42, nays 54.
Amendment H-8221 lost.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Leave of absence was granted as follows:

Wise of Lee asked and received unanimous consent to withdraw

Connors of Polk asked and received unanimous consent that
amendment H-8377, to amendment H-8162, be deferred.
Grundberg of Polk offered the following amendment H-8252, to
amendment H-8162, filed by Grundberg, et al., and moved its
