  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8162, to House File 2229 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 12 through 18.
  1  4    #2.  By striking page 1, line 35 through page 3,
  1  5 line 28 and inserting the following:
  1  6    "Except in the case of a medical emergency, an
  1  7 abortion shall not be performed in this state without
  1  8 the voluntary and informed consent of the patient upon
  1  9 whom the abortion is to be performed."
  1 10    #3.  By striking page 3, line 47 through page 4,
  1 11 line 4, and inserting the following:  "performed or
  1 12 attempted to be performed."
