Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives, That
a committee of three be appointed by the Speaker of the
House to prepare suitable resolutions commemorating his
life, character and service to the state.
The motion prevailed and the Speaker appointed as such
committee Boddicker of Cedar, Doderer of Johnson and Johnson of
Osceola.

House File 2410, a bill for an act relating to the college student
aid commission's membership, duties, and authority, and related
federal employment reports, was taken up for consideration.
Dolecheck of Ringgold offered the following amendment H-8185
filed by him and moved its adoption:

1 Amend House File 2410 as follows:
2 1. By striking page 3, line 27 through page 4,
3 line 8.
4 2. By striking page 4, line 27 through page 5,
5 line 14.
6 3. Page 5, by striking lines 21 through 26.
7 4. By renumbering as necessary.
Amendment H-8185 was adopted, placing amendment H-8122 filed
by Dolecheck of Ringgold on March 1, 2000, out of order.
Dolecheck of Ringgold asked and received unanimous consent to
withdraw amendment H-8140 filed by him on March 1, 2000.
SENATE FILE 2248 SUBSTITUTED FOR HOUSE FILE 2410
Dolecheck of Ringgold asked and received unanimous consent to
substitute Senate File 2248 for House File 2410.
Senate File 2248, a bill for an act relating to the college student
aid commission's membership, duties, and authority, and related
federal employment reports, was taken up for consideration.
