HOUSE MEMORIAL RESOLUTION 107
Whereas, The Honorable Howard N. Sokol, of Osceola
County, Iowa, who was a member of the Sixtieth general
assembly, passed away January 2,1999; Now Therefore,
Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives, That
a committee of three be appointed by the Speaker of the
House to prepare suitable resolutions commemorating his
life, character and service to the state.
The motion prevailed and the Speaker appointed as such
committee Johnson of Osceola, Stevens of Dickinson and Huseman of
Cherokee.
ADOPTION OF HOUSE MEMORIAL RESOLUTION 108
Greiner of Washington offered the following House Memorial
Resolution 108 and moved its adoption:
HOUSE MEMORIAL RESOLUTION 108
Whereas, The Honorable Harvey W. Ware, of Wapello
County, Iowa, who was a member of the Fifty-ninth general
assembly, passed away August 20, 1998; Now Therefore,
Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives, That
a committee of three be appointed by the Speaker of the
House to prepare suitable resolutions commemorating his
life, character and service to the state.
The motion prevailed and the Speaker appointed as such
committee Greiner of Washington, Reynolds of Van Buren and Davis
of Wapello.
ADOPTION OF HOUSE MEMORIAL RESOLUTION 109
Boddicker of Cedar offered the following House Memorial
Resolution 109 and moved its adoption:

Whereas, The Honorable Herbert C. Hinkhouse, of
Cedar County, Iowa, who was a member of the Sixty-sixth,
Sixty-seventh, and Sixty-eighth general assemblies, passed
away February 27, 2000; Now Therefore,
