COMMUNICATION FROM THE STATE APPEAL BOARD
The following communication was received from the State Appeal
Board on February 9, 2000, and is on file in the office of the Chief
Clerk:

Dear Chief Clerk:
There are transmitted herewith claims against the State of Iowa to be filed with the
Claims Committee of the House of Representatives.
These include 16 claims of general nature that were denied by the State Appeal
Board at the February 7, 2000, meeting. This supplements our filing of January 12,
2000.
The attached index shows claim number, name and address of claimant and the
amount requested in the claim.
We would like to draw your attention to Claim #G000288. At the February 7th
meeting a MOTION was made by Johnson, and seconded by Eisenhauer, to deny Claim
G000288 and to refer the claim to the legislature with a recommendation to pay it.
