HOUSE STUDY BILL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS
H.S.B. 539 Education
Relating to the authority of the board of educational examiners over
certification and licensing of para-educators and practitioners.
H.S.B. 540 Ways and Means
Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Iowa
relating to the power of the people to affirm or reject Acts of the
General Assembly relating to the individual income tax or sales or
use tax.
H.S.B. 541 Labor and Industrial Relations
Relating to workers' compensation concerning service of notices on
nonresident employers, the calculation of weekly earnings, the loca-
tion of hearings, and the approval of related liens.
On motion by Rants of Woodbury the House adjourned at 9:34
a.m., until 9:30 a.m., Friday, January 21, 2000.
