COMPANION BILL RECEIVED On April 27, 1999, House Concurrent Resolution 24 was received and attached to companion Senate Concurrent Resolution 23 on the calendar. EXPLANATION OF VOTE MADAM PRESIDENT: I erroneously voted "Nay" on HF 476. I intended to vote "Aye." BETTY SOUKUP BILLS SIGNED BY THE GOVERNOR A communication was received announcing that on April 27, 1999, the Governor approved and transmitted to the Secretary of State the following bills: S.F. 146 - Relating to worker and public safety and protection laws administered by the labor services division of Iowa workforce development. S.F. 149 - Establishing a time limit for disallowance or reduction of motor vehicle warranty claims, relating to establishment of motor vehicle service or warranty facilities, and making a penalty applicable. S.F. 424 - Relating to and making transportation and other infra-structure-related appropriations to the state department of transportation, including allocation and use of moneys from the general fund of the state, road use tax fund, and primary road fund, providing for a commercial truck parking study, and providing for the nonreversion of certain moneys and an effective date.
