  On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 4:20 p.m.

  The Senate reconvened at 5:12 p.m., Senator Bartz presiding.

  Senate File 449

  The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File 449, a bill for an act
  relating to public policy involving the use of the English %'% language and
  assistance to legal immigrants and foreign nationals and providing a future
  repeal, previously deferred.

  President Kramer took the chair at 5:34 p.m.

  Senator Boettger moved that the bill be read the last time now and placed
  upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice
  vote, and the bill was read the last time.
