APPROPRIATIONS Final Bill Action: *SENATE FILE 424 (SSB 1150), a bill for an act relating to and making transportation and other infra-structure-related appropriations to the state department of transportation, including allocation and use of moneys from the general fund of the state, road use tax fund, and primary road fund, providing for the use of a former rest area, and providing for the nonreversion of certain moneys. Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL. Final Vote: Ayes, 25: McLaren, Kramer, Flynn, Behn, Black, Bolkcom, Connolly, Deluhery, Dvorsky, Freeman, Hammond, Hedge, Horn, Jensen, Johnson, King, Lamberti, Maddox, McCoy, Redwine, Rehberg, Rife, Schuerer, Soukup, and Tinsman. Nays, none. Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17. *Pursuant to Senate Rule 40, the Legislative Service Bureau reported nonsubstantive changes to the members of the Appropriations Committee on Senate File 424, and they were attached to the committee report. ALSO: Final Bill Action: *SENATE FILE 430 (SSB 1116), a bill for an act relating to and making supplemental and other appropriations for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1998, and providing an effective date. Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL. Final Vote: Ayes, 25: McLaren, Kramer, Flynn, Behn, Black, Bolkcom, Connolly, Deluhery, Dvorsky, Freeman, Hammond, Hedge, Horn, Jensen, Johnson, King, Lamberti, Maddox, McCoy, Redwine, Rehberg, Rife, Schuerer, Soukup, and Tinsman.
