  A communication was received announcing that on March 12, 1999, the Governor
  approved and transmitted to the Secretary of
  State the following bill:

  S.F. 70 - an act concerning unemployment insurance by providing for the
  distribution of certain moneys in the unemployment trust fund and the
  transfer of
  experience for unemployment insurance tax purposes.

  Senate File 426, by committee on Small Business, Economic Development and
  Tourism, a bill for an act relating to linked
  investment deposits by providing a low- interest loan program to assist
  persons involved in value- added agricultural processing.

  Read first time under Rule 28 and placed on calendar.

  Senate File 427, by committee on Natural Resources and Environment, a bill
  for an act relating to a watershed protection task
  force and creating a watershed protection program and a watershed protection
  account within the water protection fund.

  Read first time under Rule 28 and placed on calendar.

  Senate File 428, by committee on State Government , a bill for an act
  relating to the authority of cities and counties to adopt
  rent control ordinances.

  Read first time under Rule 28 and placed on calendar.

  Senate File 429, by committee on Judiciary, a bill for an act relating to
  notification of forfeited and cancelled mechanic's liens,
  challenging a mechanic's lien, and providing a remedy.

  Read first time under Rule 28 and placed on calendar.
