  Senator Iverson moved the adoption of the report and
  appointment of the permanent officers and employees of the
  Senate.

  The motion prevailed by a voice vote and the foregoing officers
  and employees appeared before the bar of the Senate and were
  duly sworn.



  REPORT OF COMMITTEE TO NOTIFY THE GOVERNOR

  Senator Bartz reported that the committee assigned to notify
  the governor that the Senate was organized and ready to receive
  communications had performed its duty.

  The report was accepted and the committee discharged.

  REPORT OF COMMITTEE TO NOTIFY THE HOUSE

  Senator Hedge reported that the committee assigned to notify
  the House that the Senate was organized and ready for business
  had performed its duty.

  The report was accepted and the committee discharged.

  APPOINTMENT OF SENATE SECRETARIES

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to
  take up the following report of the committee on Rules and
  Administration:
