  VACANCY IN THE SENATE

  President Kramer announced that a vacancy had occurred in
  Senatorial District 46, due to the resignation of Senator Patty
  Judge on December 13, 1998.




  COMMITTEE ON CREDENTIALS

  Senator Iverson moved that a committee of five be appointed as
  a committee on Credentials.

  The motion prevailed by a voice vote and the Chair appointed
  as such committee Senators Johnson, Chair; Rehberg, Behn,
  Flynn, and Kibbie.

  The Senate stood at ease at 10:34 a.m. until the fall of the
  gavel.

  The Senate resumed session at 10:39 a.m. President Kramer
  presiding.

  REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE ON CREDENTIALS

  MADAM PRESIDENT:  We, your committee on credentials, respectfully report
