Unfinished Business Calendar

House File 746, a bill for an act relating to and making 
appropriations for agriculture and natural resources and providing 
effective dates, was taken up for consideration.
Gipp of Winneshiek asked and received unanimous consent that 
House File 746 be deferred and that the bill retain its place on the 
calendar.
The House stood at ease at 1:27 p.m., until the fall of the gavel.
The House resumed session at 2:53 p.m., Speaker Corbett in the 
chair.
INTRODUCTION OF BILL
House File 762, by committee on appropriations, a bill for an act 
relating to state government technology and operations, by making 
and relating to appropriations to the Iowa communications network 
for the support of certain Part III users, making appropriations to 
various entities for other technology-related purposes, providing for 
the procurement of information technology, providing for the use of 
the network, providing for electronic access to public information by 
creating an IowAccess network, authorizing fees, and providing an 
effective date.
Read first time and placed on the appropriations calendar.
The House resumed consideration of House File 746.
Greiner of Washington offered amendment H?1384 filed by her as 
follows:

 1     Amend House File 746 as follows:
 2     1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
 3   following:
 4                        "DIVISION I"
 5     2.  Page 1, line 13, by striking the figure
 6   "2,112,222" and inserting the following:  "2,137,161".
 7     3.  Page 1, line 14, by striking the figure
 8   "46.88" and inserting the following:  "47.88".
