estate, the filing of a release of mortgage, and providing a remedy, 
was taken up for consideration.
SENATE FILE 335 SUBSTITUTED FOR HOUSE FILE 589
Bradley of Clinton asked and received unanimous consent to 
substitute Senate File 335 for House File 589.
Senate File 335, a bill for an act relating to the transfer of real 
estate, the filing of a release of mortgage, and providing a remedy, 
was taken up for consideration.
Metcalf of Polk asked and received unanimous consent to 
withdraw amendment H-1257 filed by her on March 25, 1999.
Bradley of Clinton moved that the bill be read a last time now and 
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read 
a last time.

Bradley of Clinton asked and received unanimous consent to 
withdraw House File 589 from further consideration by the House.
House File 626, a bill for an act concerning the workforce de-
velopment department, by providing for the establishment of a work-
force development corporation, expenses for members of the regional 
advisory board to the workforce development board, authority to 
charge fees for certain services of the department, and Iowa con-
servation corps employee rights, was taken up for consideration.
SENATE FILE 281 SUBSTITUTED FOR HOUSE FILE 626
Hoffman of Crawford asked and received unanimous consent to 
substitute Senate File 281 for House File 626.
Senate File 281, a bill for an act concerning the workforce de-
velopment department, by providing for the establishment of a work-
