relating to the payment of the legal defense costs of indigent persons, 
expanding the duties of the state public defender, and providing for 
the appointment and removal of certain state public defender 
personnel.

IMMEDIATE MESSAGE
Gipp of Winneshiek asked and received unanimous consent that 
House File 661 be immediately messaged to the Senate.

relating to teacher shortage areas and the board of educational 
examiners, establishing a teacher shortage forgivable loan and fund, 
providing for teacher recruitment and preparation, alternative 
licensure of content area specialists, and a task force to study the use
