	House File 375, by Alons, a bill for an act eliminating the 

requirement that information relating to open-end credit accounts 
and credit cards be filed with the treasurer of state.
Read first time and referred to committee on commerce and 
regulation.
House File 376, by Richardson, a bill for an act relating to speed 
limits on highways which may be regulated by local authorities.
Read first time and referred to committee on transportation.
House File 377, by Rants, a bill for an act relating to the number 
of monthly state aid payments received by school districts.
Read first time and referred to committee on education.

House File 208, a bill for an act establishing a southern Iowa 
development and conservation authority, specifying membership, 
powers, and duties, creating a southern Iowa development and 
conservation fund, and providing for other properly related matters, 
with report of committee recommending passage, was taken up for 
consideration.
Teig of Hamilton moved that the bill be read a last time now and 
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read 
a last time.

suspension of a law enforcement officer's certification, was taken up 
for consideration.
Taylor of Linn asked and received unanimous consent to withdraw 
amendment H-1015 filed by Taylor of Linn, et al., on February 18, 
1999.
Davis of Wapello offered the following amendment H?1028 filed by 
him and Taylor of Linn, and moved its adoption:
