1 1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. ___
1 2 BY IVERSON and GRONSTAL
1 3 A Senate Resolution honoring Senator Richard F. Drake
1 4 for his years of legislative service.
1 5 WHEREAS, Senator Richard F. Drake will this year
1 6 complete more than thirty years of service in the
1 7 General Assembly, including six terms in the Senate;
1 8 and
1 9 WHEREAS, Senator Drake has served honorably and has
1 10 unselfishly given his time and efforts to further the
1 11 interests of the state of Iowa and to provide
1 12 beneficial programs for the citizens of Iowa; and
1 13 WHEREAS, it is proper that Senator Drake be honored
1 14 for his many years of service to the state of Iowa;
1 15 NOW THEREFORE,
1 16 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE, That the Senate pay
1 17 tribute to Senator Drake and express its gratitude for
1 18 the service rendered by him; and
1 19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Senate present to
1 20 Senator Drake his Senate desk in appreciation for his
1 21 service.
