PAG LIN 1 1 Section 1. Section 217.30, subsection 2, Code 1999, is 1 2 amended to read as follows: 1 3 2. Information described in subsection 1 shall not be 1 4 disclosed to or used by any person or agency except for 1 5 purposes of administration of the programs of services or 1 6 assistance, and shall not in any case, except as otherwise 1 7 provided in subsection 4,paragraph "b",be disclosed to or 1 8 used by persons or agencies outside the department unless they 1 9 are subject to standards of confidentiality comparable to 1 10 those imposed on the department by this division. 1 11 Sec. 2. Section 217.30, subsection 4, Code 1999, is 1 12 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 1 13 NEW PARAGRAPH. f. Any confidential information described 1 14 in subsection 1 that is available to the individual receiving 1 15 services or assistance shall be disclosed to that individual's 1 16 court-appointed legal guardian. 1 17 SF 2074 1 18 jp/cc/26
