1 1 Amend the amendment, S-5380, to Senate File 2395,
1 2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
1 3 follows:
1 4 #1. Page 1, line 40, by striking the word and
1 5 figure "through 6" and inserting the following:
1 6 "through 8".
1 7 #2. Page 2, by line 1, by striking the word
1 8 "this"" and inserting the following: "this subsection
1 9 shall be deposited in the operations revolving fund
1 10 created in section 14B.102A. It is the intent of the
1 11 general assembly that the"".
1 12 #3. Page 2, by inserting after line 3 the
1 13 following:
1 14 "SEC. . NEW SECTION. 14B.102A OPERATIONS
1 15 REVOLVING FUND.
1 16 An operations revolving fund is created in the
1 17 state treasury. The operations revolving fund shall
1 18 be administered by the department and shall consist of
1 19 moneys collected by the department as fees, moneys
1 20 appropriated by the general assembly, and any other
1 21 moneys obtained or accepted by the department for
1 22 deposit in the revolving fund. The proceeds of the
1 23 revolving fund are appropriated to and shall be used
1 24 by the department for the operations of the department
1 25 consistent with this chapter. The department shall
1 26 submit an annual report not later than January 31, to
1 27 the members of the general assembly and the
1 28 legislative fiscal bureau, of the activities funded by
1 29 and expenditures made from the revolving fund during
1 30 the preceding fiscal year. Section 8.33 does not
1 31 apply to any moneys in the revolving fund and,
1 32 notwithstanding section 12C.7, subsection 2, earnings
1 33 or interest on moneys deposited in the revolving fund
1 34 shall be credited to the revolving fund."
