1 3 #1. Page 14, by inserting before line 7, the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. . Section 142B.6, unnumbered paragraph 3,
1 6 Code 1999, is amended to read as follows:
1 7 Enforcement of this chapter shall be implemented in
1 8 an equitable manner throughout the state. For the
1 9 purpose of equitable and uniform implementation,
1 10 application, and enforcement of state and local laws
1 11 and regulations, the provisions of this chapter shall
1 12 supersede any local law or regulation which is
1 13 inconsistent with or conflicts with the provisions of
1 14 this chapter. However, a local law enforcement agency
1 15 is authorized to enforce the provisions of this
1 16 chapter."
