  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-5388, to Senate File 2448 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 11, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "#   .  Page 12, by inserting after line 22 the
  1  6 following:
  1  7    "Sec.    .  INTERIM STUDY.  The legislative council
  1  8 is requested to establish an interim study committee.
  1  9 The study committee shall consider the availability of
  1 10 motor vehicle fuel with levels of octane customarily
  1 11 used to combine with alcohol in order to produce
  1 12 renewable reformulated gasoline as provided in chapter
  1 13 214A as amended by this Act.  The study committee is
  1 14 directed to submit its findings, together with any
  1 15 recommendations, in a report to the general assembly
  1 16 which convenes in January 2001, as required by the
  1 17 legislative council.""
