1 6 #2. By striking page 1, line 31, through page 2,
1 7 line 9, and inserting the following:
1 8 "Sec. . There is appropriated from the road use
1 9 tax fund to the state department of transportation for
1 10 the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1999, and ending
1 11 June 30, 2000, the following amount, or so much
1 12 thereof as is necessary, for the purpose designated:
1 13 For costs associated with the county issuance of
1 14 driver's licenses:
1 15 .................................................. $ 308,000"
1 16 #3. Page 2, by inserting after line 16 the
1 17 following:
1 18 "Sec. . ASSISTANCE FOR RAILROAD CLOSE-CLEARANCE
1 19 WARNING DEVICES. Notwithstanding any contrary
1 20 provision in section 327H.20A, the state department of
1 21 transportation may use moneys in the railroad
1 22 revolving loan fund to erect close-clearance warning
1 23 devices along railroad rights of way when necessary."
