House Study Bill 763

  1  1    Section 1.  Section 422.45, Code Supplement 1999, is
  1  2 amended by adding the following new subsection:
  1  3    NEW SUBSECTION.  57.  The gross receipts from the sale of
  1  4 feed and feed supplements and additives when used for
  1  5 consumption by elk and bison.  
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    The bill exempts from the sales and use taxes the sale of
  1  8 feed to be used for consumption by elk and bison.  Sales of
  1  9 feed supplements and additives used for the same purpose are
  1 10 also exempt.
