1 1 That the cottage to be dedicated in the spring of 2000 at
1 2 the state training school in Eldora, Iowa, be named the
1 3 Corbett-Miller cottage in honor of the former Speaker of the
1 4 House of Representatives of the Iowa General Assembly, Ron J.
1 5 Corbett, and the Honorable Tom Miller, Attorney General of the
1 6 State of Iowa; and that an appropriate commemorative plaque be
1 7 placed near the entrance of the cottage in recognition of Ron
1 8 J. Corbett and Tom Miller and the outstanding contributions
1 9 they have made to the state training school and the State of
1 10 Iowa in their public and private service.
1 11 This joint resolution, being deemed of immediate
1 12 importance, takes effect upon enactment.
1 13 EXPLANATION
1 14 This joint resolution provides that the cottage to be
1 15 dedicated in the spring of 2000 at the state training school
1 16 shall be named the Corbett-Miller cottage.
1 17 The joint resolution takes effect upon enactment.
