  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-9019, to House File 2560 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 4, by striking lines 4 through 8 and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "31.  For a person who is disabled, or is fifty-
  1  6 five years of age or older, or is an individual or the
  1  7 surviving spouse of an individual or a survivor having
  1  8 an insurable interest in an individual who would have
  1  9 qualified for the exemption under this subsection for
  1 10 the tax year,".
  1 11    #2.  Page 4, by striking lines 22 through 25 and
  1 12 inserting the following:  "income tax return.
  1 13 However, a surviving spouse who is not disabled or
  1 14 fifty-five years of age or older can only exclude the
  1 15 amount of pension or retirement pay received as a
  1 16 result of the death of the other spouse."
