1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8810, to House File 2502, as
1 2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as
1 3 follows:
1 4 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 14 the
1 5 following:
1 6 " . Notwithstanding any contrary provision of
1 7 this Act, this Act shall not apply to any county if
1 8 the final disposition of the litigation pending before
1 9 the district court of Lyon or Story county addressing
1 10 the expenditures specified in section 3 of this Act is
1 11 decided in favor of Lyon or Story county, whichever
1 12 litigation is finally determined last. If the final
1 13 disposition of the litigation is against the affected
1 14 county, this Act shall apply to all counties beginning
1 15 with the county budgets certified on or before the
1 16 succeeding March 15."
