  1  1    Amend Senate File 2429, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 17, by inserting after line 5 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  LEAD ABATEMENT PROGRAM – FUNDING.  For
  1  6 the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, and ending
  1  7 June 30, 2001, from the tax revenue received by the
  1  8 state racing and gaming commission pursuant to section
  1  9 99D.15, subsections 1, 3, and 4, an amount equal to
  1 10 three-tenths of one percent of the gross sum wagered
  1 11 by the pari-mutuel method, not to exceed $100,000, is
  1 12 appropriated to the Iowa department of public health.
  1 13 The moneys appropriated pursuant to this section shall
  1 14 be used to supplement amounts otherwise appropriated
  1 15 for the lead abatement program."
