1 7 "b. The department shall establish model lead
1 8 hazard remediation requirements for residential
1 9 properties. The objective of the requirements shall
1 10 be to provide local health authorities with model
1 11 standards and requirements concerning the
1 12 identification of potential instances of residential
1 13 lead-based paint poisoning of children, and the
1 14 application of corrective measures to residential
1 15 properties relating to lead-based paint removal in
1 16 order to prevent ongoing and future exposure."
