  1  1    Amend Senate File 2430, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 16, by inserting after line 12, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec. 301.  DAIRY TRADE PRACTICES RECEIPTS –
  1  6 APPROPRIATION FOR JOHNE'S DISEASE.
  1  7    1.  There is appropriated from any moneys credited
  1  8 to or deposited in the general fund of the state and
  1  9 tracked by the department of management pursuant to
  1 10 section 8.60 as moneys which under law were deposited
  1 11 into the dairy trade practices trust fund pursuant to
  1 12 section 192A.30, Code Supplement 1993, to the
  1 13 department of agriculture and land stewardship for the
  1 14 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June
  1 15 30, 2001, to be used for the following purposes:
  1 16    a.  Supporting on-farm site testing as required to
  1 17 evaluate procedures and tests to accurately diagnose
  1 18 Johne's disease.
  1 19    b.  Providing education to cattle producers
  1 20 regarding practices and procedures to control or
  1 21 eradicate Johne's disease.
  1 22    2.  Moneys appropriated under subsection 1 shall
  1 23 not revert as provided in section 8.33 but shall be
  1 24 used by the department as provided in subsection 1 in
  1 25 subsequent fiscal years until expended."
  1 26    #2.  Page 19, by striking lines 16 through 19 and
  1 27 inserting the following:
  1 28    "Sec.    .  CONTINGENT EFFECTIVE DATE.  Sections 21
  1 29 and 301 of this Act take effect contingent upon the
  1 30 repeal of chapter 192A as provided in House File 2328,
  1 31 if enacted during the 2000 regular session of the
  1 32 Seventy-eighth General Assembly."
  1 33    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
