1 3 #1. Page 2, by inserting after line 23 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. . Section 478.2, unnumbered paragraph 6,
1 6 Code 1999, is amended to read as follows:
1 7 No person, company, or corporation seeking rights
1 8 under this chapter shall negotiate or purchase any
1 9 easements or other interests in land in any county
1 10 known to be affected by the proposed project prior to
1 11 the informational meeting. The person seeking rights
1 12 under this chapter shall deliver in person the
1 13 statement of individual rights required by section
1 14 6B.2B to any landowner who did not attend the
1 15 informational meeting."
1 16 #2. Page 3, by inserting after line 29 the
1 17 following:
1 18 "Sec. . Section 479.5, unnumbered paragraph 7,
1 19 Code 1999, is amended to read as follows:
1 20 A pipeline company seeking rights under this
1 21 chapter shall not negotiate or purchase any easements
1 22 or other interests in land in any county known to be
1 23 affected by the proposed project prior to the
1 24 informational meeting. The person seeking rights
1 25 under this chapter shall deliver in person the
1 26 statement of individual rights required by section
1 27 6B.2B to any landowner who did not attend the
1 28 informational meeting."
