PAG LIN 1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8343, to Senate File 2111, 1 2 as passed by the Senate, as follows: 1 3 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 4 the 1 4 following: 1 5 "Sec. . Section 257.1, subsection 2, unnumbered 1 6 paragraph 3, Code Supplement 1999, is amended to read 1 7 as follows: 1 8 For the budget year commencing July 1,19992000, 1 9 the department of management shall add the amount of 1 10 the additional budget adjustment computed in section 1 11 257.14, subsection 1, to the combined foundation 1 12 base." 1 13 #2. Page 1, by striking lines 36 through 45 and 1 14 inserting the following: 1 15 ""1. For the budget years commencing July 1, 1997, 1 16 July 1, 1998,andJuly 1, 1999, and July 1, 2000, if 1 17 the department of management determines that the 1 18 regular program district cost of a school district for 1 19 a budget year is less than the total of the regular 1 20 program district cost plus any adjustment added under 1 21 this section for the base year for that school 1 22 district, the department of management shall provide a 1 23 budget adjustment for that district for that budget 1 24 year that is equal to the difference."" 1 25 1 26 1 27 1 28 FREVERT of Palo Alto 1 29 SF 2111.303 78 1 30 rn/cf
