1 1 Amend the amendment, H-1843, to Senate File 459, as
1 2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
1 3 follows:
1 4 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 23 the
1 5 following:
1 6 "Sec. . ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
1 7 SUPPLEMENTARY WEIGHTING. A school district which
1 8 received funding for supplementary weighting for an
1 9 alternative high school program offered by a community
1 10 college for the school budget year beginning July 1,
1 11 1999, shall continue to receive funding for
1 12 supplementary weighting for an alternative high school
1 13 program for the school budget year beginning July 1,
1 14 2000. A school district which did not receive funding
1 15 for supplementary weighting for an alternative high
1 16 school program offered by a community college for the
1 17 school budget year beginning July 1, 1999, shall not
1 18 be eligible to receive funding for supplementary
1 19 weighting for an alternative high school program for
1 20 the school budget year beginning July 1, 2000."
1 21 #2. Page 1, by striking lines 29 through 33 and
1 22 inserting the following:
1 23 "# . Title page, lines 2 and 3, by striking the
1 24 following: "and making appropriations"."
1 25 #3 By renumbering as necessary.
