  1  1    Amend the Senate amendment, H-1791, to House File
  1  2 322, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 4 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Section 1.  Section 9H.1, subsection 12, Code
  1  7 1999, is amended to read as follows:
  1  8    12.  "Feedlot" means a lot, yard, corral, building,
  1  9 or other area in which hogs or cattle fed for
  1 10 slaughter are confined. The term includes areas which
  1 11 are used for the raising of crops or other vegetation
  1 12 and upon which hogs or cattle fed for slaughter are
  1 13 allowed to graze or feed."
  1 14    #2.  Page 5, line 25, by striking the words "holds
  1 15 a legal interest in" and inserting the following:
  1 16 "owns or leases".
  1 17    #3.  Page 5, lines 39 and 40, by striking the words
  1 18 "holds a legal interest in" and inserting the
  1 19 following:  "owns or leases".
  1 20    #4.  Page 7, line 21, by striking the words
  1 21 "contract producer" and inserting the following:
  1 22 "contractor".
  1 23    #5.  Page 7, line 36, by striking the words
  1 24 "contract producer" and inserting the following:
  1 25 "contractor".
  1 26    #6.  Page 9, line 48, by striking the word
  1 27 "executes" and inserting the following:  "enforces".
  1 28    #7.  Page 9, by striking lines 49 and 50 and
  1 29 inserting the following:  "provision in a production
  1 30 contract that provides that information contained in
  1 31 the production contract is confidential as provided in
  1 32 section 8E.3."
  1 33    #8.  Page 10, by inserting after line 18, the
  1 34 following:
  1 35    "#   .  Title page, line 1, by striking the words
  1 36 "production contracts" and inserting the following:
  1 37 "agricultural production"."
  1 38    #9.  By renumbering as necessary.
