1 4 "Sec. . Section 15E.196, Code 1999, is amended
1 5 by adding the following new subsection:
1 6 NEW SUBSECTION. 6. Insurance premium tax credit,
1 7 as provided in section 15.333A.
1 8 Sec. . The legislative council is requested to
1 9 establish an enterprise zone interim study committee
1 10 to consider all of the following issues regarding the
1 11 enterprise zone program established in division XVIII
1 12 of chapter 15E:
1 13 1. Eligibility criteria under the enterprise zone
1 14 program.
1 15 2. The movement of existing businesses into
1 16 enterprise zones.
1 17 3. The establishment of additional enterprise
1 18 zones.
1 19 4. The current overall performance and
1 20 effectiveness of the enterprise zone program."
1 21 #2. Title page, by striking lines 1 and 2 and
1 22 inserting the following: "An Act relating to economic
1 23 development tax credits by amending the new investment
1 24 tax credit under the new jobs and income program,
1 25 amending the incentives and assistance under the
1 26 enterprise zone program, and requesting an enterprise
1 27 zone interim study committee."
1 28 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
