1 3 #1. Page 2, by striking lines 3 through 13 and
1 4 inserting the following:
1 5 "NEW SUBSECTION. 8. A licensee shall not loan to
1 6 any person money or any other thing of value or permit
1 7 a financial institution, vendor, or other person to
1 8 loan money on the licensed premises with the exception
1 9 of entrance foyers before the customer count
1 10 turnstyle, hotel premises, and restaurants, on the
1 11 basis of a credit card or similar instrument in person
1 12 or through an electronic or mechanical device for the
1 13 purpose of permitting that person to wager within a
1 14 racetrack enclosure. The use of a check or debit card
1 15 with overdraft protection or a credit card cash
1 16 advance through a satellite terminal as defined in
1 17 section 527.2 or a withdrawal from an account through
1 18 a satellite terminal as defined in section 527.2 is
1 19 not prohibited by this subsection."
1 20 #2. By striking page 6, line 34, through page 7,
1 21 line 9, and inserting the following:
1 22 "NEW SUBSECTION. 7. A licensee shall not loan to
1 23 any person money or any other thing of value or permit
1 24 a financial institution, vendor, or other person to
1 25 loan money on the excursion gambling boat on the basis
1 26 of a credit card or similar instrument in person or
1 27 through an electronic or mechanical device for the
1 28 purpose of permitting that person to wager on any game
1 29 on an excursion gambling boat. The use of a check or
1 30 debit card with overdraft protection or a credit card
1 31 cash advance through a satellite terminal as defined
1 32 in section 527.2 or a withdrawal from an account
1 33 through a satellite terminal as defined in section
1 34 527.2 is not prohibited by this subsection."
