1 3 #1. Page 2, by striking line 20 and inserting the
1 4 following: "appointed as follows:
1 5 a. Three members appointed by the board of
1 6 supervisors of each county participating in the
1 7 alliance and at least one of the appointees shall be a
1 8 member of the board of supervisors of a county
1 9 participating in the alliance.
1 10 b. Seven additional voting members who shall be
1 11 persons with experience in the fields of environmental
1 12 affairs, conservation, finance, development, tourism,
1 13 or related fields, and who shall be appointed by the
1 14 authority."
1 15 #2. Page 2, line 21, by inserting after the word

1 32 Sec. ___. INTERIM STUDY ON RESTRICTIVE EASEMENTS.
1 33 The legislative council is requested to establish an
1 34 interim study committee to study restrictive easements
1 35 and covenants as a tool to carry out projects and
1 36 programs to protect, conserve, or develop various
1 37 areas of the loess hills. The study committee shall
1 38 report its findings and recommendations to the
1 39 legislative council."
1 40 #7. Title page, line 3, by inserting after the
1 41 word "matters" the following: ", and providing an
1 42 applicability date".
1 43 #8. By renumbering, relettering, or redesignating
1 44 and correcting internal references as necessary.
