1 7 "3. An individual employed as a dental assistant
1 8 as of July 1, 2000, if accompanied by a certified
1 9 statement of an employing dentist, licensed in good
1 10 standing in Iowa, stating that the individual
1 11 qualifies by training and experience as a dental
1 12 assistant, shall be allowed to register with the board
1 13 by September 1, 2000. This individual shall not be
1 14 subject to the education and examination requirements
1 15 of subsection 2 as a condition of registration, but
1 16 shall be subject to the continuing education
1 17 requirements established in subsection 2. Individuals
1 18 employed as a".
