  Senator Maddox moved to reconsider the vote by which House
  amendment S-5550 to Senate File 2387 was adopted by the Senate
  on April 13, 1998.

  The motion prevailed by a voice vote and House amendment S-5550
  was taken up for reconsideration.

  Senator Maddox called up the motion to reconsider the vote by
  which amendment S-5597 to House amendment S-5550 to Senate
  File 2387 was adopted by the Senate on April 13, 1998.

  The motion prevailed by a voice vote and amendment S-5597 was
  taken up for reconsideration.

  Senator Maddox asked and received unanimous consent to
  withdraw amendment S-5597 to House amendment S-5550.

  Senator Maddox offered amendment S-5632, filed by him on April 14,
  1998, to page 1 of House amendment S-5550, and moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-5632 was adopted by a voice vote.

  Senator Maddox moved that the Senate concur in the House
  amendment as amended.

  The motion prevailed by a voice vote and the Senate concurred in
  the House amendment as amended.

  Senator Maddox moved that the bill as amended by the House,
  further amended and concurred in by the Senate, be read the last
  time now and placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a
  voice vote, and the bill was read the last time.
