  BILLS SIGNED BY THE GOVERNOR

  A communication was received announcing that on April 14, 1998,
  the Governor approved and transmitted to the Secretary of State the
  following bills:

  S.F. 2364 - Relating to the sales, services, and use taxes exemption for the
  sales of
  food and beverages for human consumption by certain organizations, providing
  refunds, and including effective and retroactive applicability date
  provisions.

  H.F. 2135 - Relating to a mid-America port commission agreement and
  providing
  an effective date.

  H.F. 2211 - Relating to the liability for and payment of certain costs and
  other
  expenses relating to certain inmates, prisoners, and escapees.

  REPORTS OF COMMITTEE MEETINGS

  Convened:  April 14, 1998, 11:45 a.m.
