  Senator Hedge asked and received unanimous consent to withdraw
  amendment S-5448, filed by Senators Hedge, et al., on March 31,
  1998, to page 8 of the bill.

  Senator Hedge asked and received unanimous consent to withdraw
  amendment S-5477, filed by Senators Hedge, et al., on April 1, 1998,
  to page 8 of the bill.

  Senator McLaren asked and received unanimous consent to
  withdraw amendment S-5478, filed by Senators McLaren, et al., on
  April 1, 1998, to page 8 of the bill.

  Senator Gronstal asked and received unanimous consent that
  action on House File 2335 be deferred.

  On motion of Senator Schuerer, House File 2166, a bill for an act
  relating to regulation of food establishments and providing for fees
  and penalties and providing an effective date, with report of
  committee recommending amendment and passage, was taken up for
  consideration.
