  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
  for consideration Senate File 2415.

  Senate File 2415

  On motion of Senator McLaren, Senate File 2415, a bill for an act
  relating to agricultural finance and providing an appropriation and
  taxation exemption, and providing an effective date, was taken up for
  consideration.

  Senator McCoy asked and received unanimous consent that action
  on Senate File 2415 be deferred.

  UNFINISHED BUSINESS
  (Deferred March 23, 1998)

  House File 2454

  The Senate resumed consideration of House File 2454, a bill for an
  act relating to motor vehicle operator proof of financial responsibility
  and providing an effective date and for retroactive applicability,
  deferred March 23, 1998.

  Senator Douglas offered amendment S-5386, filed by Senators
  Douglas and Gronstal on March 25, 1998, to pages 2-5 of the bill and
  moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-5386 was adopted by a voice vote.

  Senator Douglas asked and received unanimous consent to
  withdraw amendment S-5398, filed by her on March 26, 1998, to
  pages 2-5 of the bill.
