  The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File 2280.

  Senator Rife offered amendment S-5358, filed by Senators Rife
  and Hammond on March 24, 1998, to pages 18 and 19 of the bill.

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that action
  on amendment S-5358 and Senate File 2280 be deferred.
