  The Senate met in regular session at 9:13 a.m., President Kramer
  presiding.

  Prayer was offered by Father Peter Cade, pastor of the Saint
  George Greek Orthodox Church, Des Moines, Iowa.

  The Journal of Tuesday, February 24, 1998, was approved.

  HOUSE MESSAGES RECEIVED

  The following messages were received from the Chief Clerk of the
  House:

  MADAM PRESIDENT:  I am directed to inform your honorable body that the
  House has on February 24, 1998 adopted the following resolution in which the
  concurrence of the Senate is asked:

  House Joint Resolution 2004, a joint resolution designating by
  name an official highest elevation in the State of Iowa.

  Read first time and referred to the committee on State
  Government

  ALSO:  That the House has on February 24, 1998, passed the following bill in
  which
  the concurrence of the House was asked:

  Senate File 2075, a bill for an act relating to the creation of a
  dental hygiene committee within the board of dental examiners.
