The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared
to have passed the House and the title, as amended, was agreed
to.
IMMEDIATE MESSAGES
Siegrist of Pottawattamie asked and received unanimous consent
that the following bills be immediately messaged to the Senate:
House File 2530, Senate Files 2397 and 2325.
EXPLANATION OF VOTE
I was necessarily absent from the House chamber on March 30,
1998. Had I been present, I would have voted "aye" on House File
2272 and Senate Files 2113, 2269 and 2348.

The Chief Clerk of the House submitted the following report:
Mr. Speaker: The Chief Clerk of the House respectfully reports
