It 16 is the intent of the general assembly that if the 17 national conference of commissioners on uniform state 18 laws proposes a uniform electronic commerce act, the 19 general assembly shall consider the proposed uniform 20 act during the session in which the proposed uniform 21 law is submitted to the states for consideration or 22 during its next regular session if the proposed 23 uniform act is submitted to the states during a period 24 in which the general assembly is not in session." Amendment H-8281 was adopted. Jacobs of Polk moved that the bill be read a last time now and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read a last time.
