Vande Hoef of Osceola offered the following amendment H-8258 filed by Vande Hoef, et al., and moved its adoption: H-8258 1 Amend House File 2424 as follows: 2 1. Page 14, by inserting before line 16 the 3 following: 4 "Sec. ___. DISPLACED DEPARTMENTAL EMPLOYEES. 5 State department of transportation employees, who are 6 members of a collective bargaining unit and who are 7 displaced as a result of the implementation of this 8 Act, shall be covered by and dealt with according to 9 the provisions of the applicable collective bargaining 10 agreement relating to contracting, subcontracting, 11 outsourcing, privatization, and layoffs." 12 2. By renumbering as necessary. Amendment H-8258 was adopted. Vande Hoef of Osceola moved that the bill be read a last time now and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read a last time. On the question "Shall the bill pass?"
